Kronos legacy program - success story
KRONOS LEGACY PROGRAM
Kronos BJJ Castle Hill has committed to actively increase participation in competition events, as part of the drive to establish our brand as the undisputed competition contender in the Hill.
To achieve this goal, Kronos BJJ Castle Hill is proud to introduce an invite only Kronos Legacy Program for members - an initiative that has been developed to provide a structured elite athletic & leadership development and competition training pathway.
The competition training pathway emphasises on active participation in major Australian and international events promoted by industry leading BJJ organisations, in particular International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF), Australian Federation of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (AFBJJ), New South Wales Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (NSWBJJF) and Grappling Industries that have been scheduled throughout the calendar years.
STRATEGIC APPROACH
As part of the initiative to strengthen & enrich Kronos Legacy Program and our competition training pathway, as well as to raise the overall standard of the competition team, Kronos BJJ Castle Hill has made a strategic decision to open the program to non-members and invite candidates with established competition experience and proven successes as well as strongleadership potential for assessments, in order to qualify for the opportunities to represent Kronos BJJ Castle Hill in our competition team.
The successful candidates are expected to be able to instill leadership, provide technical guidance, take on mentorship to nurture new & emerging talents and serve as inspiration to junior members of the team and stimulate fresh interests in the program and competitionparticipation.
David in action
SUCCESS STORY
After rounds of assessments and due considerations, Mr David Allan Viana Teixeira Cabral has been formally extended an invite to join our competition team and represent Kronos BJJ Castle Hill.
David has represented Kronos BJJ Castle Hill in three official competition outings and has achieved excellent results. These results have showcased a high degree of technical abilities & strategic approach, and most importantly David has conducted himself in manners that demonstrate the core values of our academy of Respect, Humility, Composure, Team spirit and Kaizen.
Winning GOLD at NSWBJJF Competition March 2026
In addition to competition representation, David has also significantly contributed to the enrichment of our competition training programs from junior level to elite level, and has provided competition support, as well as conducting recurring competition specific workshops for junior members of the competition team with a strong focus on their athletic development as part of the program.
David forms part of a broader, long-term strategy aimed at elevating the standard of Kronos Legacy Program and competition pathway to elite level. As the program continues to expand, the academy expects to attract more talented candidate athletes in the coming years for consideration of the program and competition representation, and through this approach, Kronos BJJ Castle Hill seeks to contribute positively to the continued growth of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, athlete & leadership development and competition participation within the Australian sporting community.
